1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the virtualibrary.lu platform. By registering or using it, you agree to them.

2. Service

virtualibrary.lu is a digital library to record, organize and enrich your books with AI features. The feature set may evolve over time.

3. Account

An account is required. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Plans & payment

There is a free plan (up to 5 books) and paid yearly subscriptions (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Payments are processed by our provider Mollie. Subscriptions renew automatically for another year unless cancelled beforehand.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime in your account. Access remains active until the end of the already-paid period; no pro-rata refund is given.

6. User obligations

You agree not to use the platform abusively, unlawfully, or in a way that harms other users or the service.

7. Content & rights

Content you enter remains yours. Rights to the platform, its design and features remain with the operator.

8. Availability

We strive for stable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance or incidents may temporarily limit access.

9. Liability

The operator’s liability is limited – as far as legally permitted – to intent and gross negligence. We recommend keeping your own backups against data loss.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

Luxembourg law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, where permitted, Luxembourg.
